The Founder
Preston Dubreville
Founder and Managing Partner
“Every home carries my name, so it carries my full attention, from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.”
Preston Dubreville is the active, hands on Principal of Dubreville Atelier. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Entrepreneurship, and obtained his real estate license while leading a sales organization at a luxury real estate firm in West Hollywood, California.
In pursuit of his real estate career, he moved back to his hometown of San Diego, where he attended the University of San Diego for advanced studies in Real Estate Finance, Investment, and Development. Preston then partnered with a general contractor, where he learned the development business of high end luxury real estate.
Recognizing a niche opportunity for a more creative design build approach in property development, he founded Dubreville Atelier, a design, development and management firm that balances his business acumen, innovative thinking, strong work ethic, and passion for visual appeal in timeless architecture and interior design.
The Origin
Born From Ashes.
As a teenager, Preston’s family home was destroyed by wildfires that swept through San Diego. In the aftermath, rebuilding became an unexpected introduction to design and development. He found himself receiving a first-hand education studying plans, meeting with architects, contractors, and designers, walking the job site, and watching a home slowly take shape from what had been lost.
At the time, there was no grand plan to make a career of it. But the experience left an impression.
Years later, that connection took on a different meaning. What began with the loss of his own family home ultimately became a career devoted to creating homes for others – turning one of the most difficult chapters of his life into the foundation for what followed.
